CINETOPIA PRODUCTIONS

Established in 2005, our production work blurs the lines of various mediums and genres: film, video, podcast and radio, live events, and projected archive/art/media installations.

OUR STORY

First in NYC, and now based in Edinburgh, Scotland, Cinetopia Productions (formerly called RPP Productions) has been in operating a production company since 2005 and continues to work with local and international clients to produce multimedia content for web, social, tv, and theatrical distribution, as well as creative documentary, archive and site-specific installations.

Our production work blurs the lines of various mediums and genres: film, video, podcast and radio, live events, and projected archive, art, and media installations. We differentiate ourselves from traditional media companies in that we produce bespoke content for our projects specifically with the location and audience in mind. We use our understanding of both film production and exhibition throughout the whole process – from ideation to delivery strategies. We select the right team and expertise for each project within the confines of any budget including direction, production, live-action, editing, post-production, and event delivery.

Our team has 30+ years of expertise in film/video production, live event management, and film exhibition. We use that to deliver our own events, workshops, podcasts — through our own public-facing events and content we produce for Cinetopia, but we are also able to parlay our experience in production into the work for our clients as well.

Our mission is to deliver expertise and the highest quality product in the most cost-effective manner to our clients while also building a roster of high-calibre work. We are a one-stop-shop for cross-media production that will capture and deliver your organisation’s goals and messages in the most compelling way possible. We create exceptional communication & professional event oversight for the many needs of our clients, as well as creating new and innovative programming for diverse audiences.
